Students are invited to explore treasure hunting by using a Global Positioning System (GPS) to hide and find 'caches' or containers in their schoolyard or neighborhood. Teachers will get hands-on experience with GPS units (will be provided), physics concepts of GPS, and ways to engage students in reading maps, hiking, and exploring nature.
